The zoo at the Jardin des Plantes in Paris, the wolf's cage. A child has settled down in front of the cage and is not taking his eyes off the wolf. The wolf, initially hostile and walled up in his solitude, ends up getting caught up in the game and tells the child his story; or more exactly, he makes the child experience the images of his life by letting him \u201center\u201d his eye.
